Early life
Hideki Tojo was born in Tokyo to a prominent family as the oldest son on December 30, 1884, his hard work and no nonsense can be traced back to his family origins, being that his family was known as a family that produced samurai, which were the dedicated and loyal protector of their masters, a trait Tojo possessed up until death. Military Studies
In the Beginning, Tojo started in 1899 at Military School, then into the Japanese Army War College and graduated with honors in 1915, and after his graduation., he got a taste of war in the Russo - Japanese war, but his effort in the war was brief, after that, he went to Europe to study the art of war from 1919 to 1922, only to return to Japan to teach Military science at the very War Colledge that he started in. The lessons he learned in his time in Europe paid off in the invasion of Inner Mongolia, where they used a blitzkreig-esque attack to take the region.
The "Razor"
In his service, Hideki Tojo earned a nickname that matched his work ethic, it was Kamisori, Or "the Razor" in English, this name was given to him because of his traits, like his sharp thinking and decisive planning that led to his success in World War II and his quick rise to power in the Japanese Military.
